Sushi is AMAZING here!!!! The fish is so fresh and everything we've ordered has been top notch. The reason for 4 stars is because it is incredibly difficult to get a seat/reservation here and the service is very slow. Don't expect to be in and out if you're on a time crunch.
Absolutely enjoyed my time here! The 15 course Omakase was excellently done and each piece was tasty and well thought out. I also ordered the oyster appetizer and was surprised it included my favorite Kumamoto oyster. Definitely saved as a favorite of mine for future visits. I am coming back again today with some friends.
The food here is so good. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I tried to pop in for a to go order, very simple order, literally asked for a two orders of tuna sushi. A piece of fish over rice. And the waitress said the sushi guys were too busy and that they could only take to go orders from the kitchen. I told her I didn't mind waiting and she still said no. Huge bummer because I really like this place.
We had delicious omakase with 12 pieces for about $60 each person. It was amazing! Chef stopped when we said we were full, but each piece was better than the one before. He put three pieces on a plate for us at a time. Sat at the bar, made reservations the day of, and was seated immediately. Sushi was so good and service was great. Water glass never got below two sips lol. Will be back and probably ordering at least 20 pieces.
